Our School is very lucky. It lucky because we have netbook. We do every thing on our netbooks even this waiting I did today I did it on my netbook

With netbooks we get to know new people from other places and other countries. When we start using our netbook every day at home and at school we get better and faster at learning because learn gets more funer. We are so lucky to have netbooks in our school`.






The thing that not so good about our netbooks it has a slow internet connection.
So times if you leave your netbook outside someone mit sill it.

I hope next year they put our netbooks as imac image .If our netbooks were imac then we will be able to make movies and video on them.

Camp at Kawau island

Last week on tuesday we had camp at kawau island. We had to be at school by seven o'clock to get the the bus.When we got to sandspit First we go our bags and to the to the bout then we went to kawau island.

At camp my favorite  activity was kayaking. It was my favorite because we went all the way to the stingray bay I so a big giant stingray. Eren said “don't  go too close to it our it well jump on your kayak”. As we were kayaking a stingray swim past. It tried to jump on the kayak .I waked it on the head  and it swim away.
I liked kayaking because it was scary.


My other favorite  activity was rippa rugby. I like rippa rugby because we versed an easy team. We beat them by lots we had six and they had  two. They only had one person that was good and that was Shayne. I thought it was Shayne because he did not drop the ball as much as the others.


Then one friday we had to came back to school. It wasn't much fun coming back after all the fun.I wanted to stay at kawau island. But the good thing is that we are going  going camp next year.

I the morning when we get to kawau island we might go for a run. Our go for a jog.  

I am looking forwards to going rock climbing. I like rock climbing because it is fun and cool.

The thing that will be a challenge is the cofidence course . It is going to be the cofidence course becouse I might fall off.

When I was paying for my gum the same man came back with his mask on. He looked at me and said “what's your name” and I said “why?” “because” he said. He reached in his pocket and got a gun “give me your money” he said. The shopkeeper wouldn’t. Then it went quiet for one second all we can hear was the birds in the trees whistling. The man got his gun and shot it at the shopkeeper. The bullet missed the shopkeeper because he dodged it.


Then the shopkeep jumped up and kicked him on his face. He had a bleeding nose. Then the shopkeeper punching and kicked until the mysterious man got knocked out. He was a expert at kick boxing and karate.


Then the police came the robber tried to run but he got tackled. I watched him go.  And when I got home I ate my gum.

Spider eat all sort of food they eat insects and even other spiders.Biting is what a spider does when it is annoyed.Ahah is what my brother said when he sees a spider get that away.

Olympic Day

Yesterday we had a olympic day. Everyone in the school went  years one,twos,three all the way up two years seven and eight. We got in different cantree. I was hoping to be in Jamaica because most of the fast runner in the world are Jamaicans. But I wasn't I was in Romania.  



I liked the Olympic day because we played game. We played  all sort game. Sting volley, handball and other spots. My favorite sport was tach I liked playing tach because I got two tries. It was a really fun sport, and we won.                                  
                                                                                               

The evell shark attack

Last week on Sunday I went to the beach with my friends. When we were swimming we saw some thing then it was quiet too quiet I knew something was wrong. Something was moving in the water.  Kyal was still in the water swimming.



I looked around I saw a giant shadow it seemed that it was getting closer and closer It  jumped Kyal screamed like a little girl as the big giant shark with giant sharp teeth. got his legs and bit then yum the shark eats Kyal's legs. a men came a sort the shark


Then a man came he went to his car and was getting something Bum, the shark was deid. The men his short the shark and Kyal is saved. This man his saved kyal's life. Kyal was caved with bled. he had to got to the doctors.            


The morale of the story is Don't ever go to the beach when they is no one to look after you. go with someone big

Skinks

Skinks are a type of lizard. There are 3 types of reptile in New Zealand: Skinks ,Geckos and Tuatara. A skinks feet is not sticky but a gecko's foot is. That  because skinks stay on the ground and geckos have sticky feet to help them climb.    


Skinks can grow up to  140 mm long with no till enclosed. They don't count the till because it can come of when they in danger,but it grow back again.

Skink live in all sorts of places. Some live in rock places and beaches and ,boshes some  even live in snow. Skink can os camfrog in their habitat.  

Skinks eat all sort  of food they  eat insects, bugs and spiders. Not all skinks eat meet  some eat fruits, berries and plums.

Now I know about Skink I like them. I think the are interesting know but not before.

Jonathan Olympics 2012

In the weekend I was watching the Olympics on TV It was cool  watching  the  hockey . Last night it was NZ vs Belgium. New Zealand good at hockey. There was a man who got a good Try . 


Usain Bolt he beat the world record by nine seconds he's the man At running he is the fastest man in the world. He didn't look like he was sprinting his fastest but he still wins . 

New Zealand has 3  golds , and,4 bronze. But no silvers.
We are beating Australia in the Olympics. China is winning

Why does a bee sting

A bee sting is self defence.  A bee sting when you true the kill it that why is attacks you.

The only bees the sting a the worker bee. At the end of a bee's stinger they is barbed.   



When a bee sting someone it  dies because the person who it sting knocks the sting.

Jonathan Van gogh Cafe Terrace at night

I am painting one of Vincent van Gogh paints called  Cafe Terrace at night. This painting was painted in September 1888. It was his fast starry starry night painting.


The things that I think are the same are the tree,the,sky and the door. Van Gogh’s Cafe painting looks much better than mine.  

The thing that is not so much the same is the chairs. I think it the chairs because one of the chairs a brown but on van Gogh's Original painting he has light brown. I tried to make it the same but it did not work.    


The mood in this painting is calm. I think its calm because he used light colours like yellow, orange, light green and more. He used dark colours too but most of the painting is yellow. The  Cafe Terrace at night is a real place in france. This place is a very very breeze Cafe on a breeze street. They are a lot of people walking in the background.

Hi we a learning about starry starry night. This painting was painted in 1889. The starry starry night is the size of Vincent van gogh's other painting called the sunflower.   

Starry Starry Night has light and dark colours. On the top of this painting there's bright colours
like yellow, white and light blue . But on the houses and the hills he used colours like dark blue, purple for the hills, black and other dark colours.

On this painting you can see there are two things that a pointy. The two things that a pointy are the top off the big curvy cypress tree and the church steeple.

Swimming

In the morning  are class went to the pool. We started going on Monday. When we got there it   smelled like chlorine and chemicals.
 
Before we go in the pool, we do same rinsing to take the dirt and dust off us.  But before we go and start swimming, we had to go for a little swim and see which group we are in. I was in group one.


We use flutter boards to stay afloat when we are still learning how to swim. When we were finished we come back to school. This week is our last lesson.    

Van Gogh

                                                                      

Vincent van the guy who cut off his a bit of his ear.If I was him I won't do that cut off my ear.

 Van Gogh has a lot of paint like on the Sunflower. It was painted in 1888, some of his painting were lost in the war.

Van Gogh was born in 1853 and died in 1890 He shot himself. He was only 37 years old.

The Sunflowers are one of Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting. It looks amazing  and cool The size of Van Gogh painting is 73 92 cm that very big for a painting.              

Vincent van Gogh had rough and bumpy painting. His painting were so bumpy that you can see where the paint went. This man use light colours to show when his happy,    
and dark colours to show when he's angry.   

The thing I like about this painting is that he used bright colours like yellow, orange, brown and red. What I don't like about this painting is that he put too much paint on it and I don't like that.

Vincent van Gogh painted the sunflower because his friend Paul Gauguin was coming to him. He painted the room yellow and put paints on the walls. But paul did not came and Van Gogh.

This is one of the most famous painting in the etayer earth. And Vincent van Gogh is one of the most famous artist in the entire world.
